Cleopatra VI | Berenice IV | Ptolemy XIII | Arsinoe IV | Ptolemy XIV
The five scroll-mounted paintings that hang above the stage for Vox Medusa Dance Company's production of Cleopatra: Ambitious Child, portray Cleopatra's dubious siblings. From left to right: Cleopatra VI, Berenice IV, Ptolemy XIII, Arsinoe IV, Ptolemy XIV. The paintings are unveiled in sequence throughout the show. At a key point in the performance, the lighting on the paintings will change and so will the images the audience sees. This is made possible by the use of an invisible layer of ultraviolet pigment that can only be seen under back-lighting.
